Topography-Guided LASIK/PRK
Topography-guided laser surgery is a technology that utilizes topographic measurements to map the irregularities of a patient’s corneas and combines that information with refractive error to produce a personalized treatment plan for vision correction patients. This technology is well-suited to patients with irregular corneas, and it can be incorporated into LASIK or PRK to treat nearsightedness, astigmatism, and farsightedness. Keratoconus patients may also benefit from topography-guided PRK in combination with corneal collagen cross-linking. Dr. Herschel will perform a comprehensive eye exam including mapping your corneas to determine if topography-guided LASIK/PRK is best for you.
